Cost: -5 Per Strike (Automatic)

Description: Upon physical contact, a small blueish discharge of energy along the surface areas.

Effect: Every strike made by Blueman carries extra damage by manipulating his connection with The Source with every physical strike made. While the physical damage is still applied to the target, magic damage is also added into it. The magical damage bypasses physical defense, however the main strike does not. Total damage from every successful strike is roughly equivalent to another punch, only affecting magical resistance. Effect does not work when used with a weapon.

If it's automatic it seems more like an enchantment.

However, the specifics of where it belongs aren't the main issue.

You are increase your main attack by 25% for 5 MP. Granted it's automatic but that means that potentially we're allowed the people to double the strength of a (single) physical attack for 20 MP.

Either the cost will have to go up or the percentage will have to go down.
An alternative is that they feel the strength of two punches one towards their physical defense and one towards their magical defense. That would make it a lot less technical while still getting your point across if it is something you wish to pursue.

Make that, "the respective hit" so that way this applies to kicks, elbows and etc.
